Skype Courses Terms and Conditions
What if you change your mind and want to cancel your lessons?
In order to reserve your spot in a class, there is a 50€ non-refundable deposit/person for all our courses, except for A2.2 Conversation for which there is a 70€ non-refundable deposit/person. Cancellations are accepted until immediately after the first lesson. If you cancel immediately up until after the first lesson, you will be refunded all but the non-refundable deposit.
If you require more flexibility around course dates and times, we recommend booking a private one-on-one course, so that you can custom schedule your lessons with the teacher in advance.
Can you transfer to a different class?
Payments for our classes, whether group or private, are non-transferable.
What if you miss a lesson?
For group classes, missed lessons cannot be rescheduled or reimbursed.
For private (one-on-one) classes, the teacher requires a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to rescheduling a lesson. Missed lessons with less than 24 hours notice cannot be rescheduled or reimbursed.
What if you sign up to the wrong class?
We strive to provide the most effective learning environment for our students, whether it’s private courses or group courses.
In group courses, we ensure that students are only participating in class levels that they are ready for, therefore avoiding the cases where students not ready for a class slow down other participants. If you sign up to a group course that you are not ready for, I will personally email you and try to find a solution for you free of charge. If I don’t hear from you, I will refund the course fee minus the non-refundable deposit.

How long do you have to redeem your private lessons?
All of the private lessons have to be redeemed within 6 months of the starting date of your course.
Skype and Internet Requirements
In order to participate in the online Skype courses, you will require a personal Skype account and high speed internet. Skype recommends the following 4Mbps Upload and 512kbps Download. As slower internet connections can negatively affect all participants, we ask that you ensure adequate speeds prior to signing up. Cancelation due to poor internet connections use the same applicable cancelation policy as specified in Terms and Conditions.
Class recruitment policy
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule classes if there is insufficient enrolment. Full refunds including deposits for any canceled class will be provided. If any rescheduled class doesn’t fit the student’s availability they can request a full refund.
Recording policy
We do not permit the recording of our Skype lessons.
What if you ordered the Learn Luxembourgish Book but it hasn’t arrived in time for your class yet?
There are no refunds or class transfers if you have signed up to a course without having the Learn Luxembourgish Book at home yet. Please make sure you have the Book at home before registering for a course.
