Learn Luxembourgish with Tony Robbins... and Liz

As the founder of Learn Luxembourgish Skype Courses, the first online courses made specifically for English speakers to learn Luxembourgish, I’m often asked by our students where they can find good-quality audio material with English translations to improve their listening skills.

At the same time, I’ve been watching some YouTube videos of speeches by Tony Robbins, one of the best-known motivational speakers out there. He might not be for everyone, but I, personally, find him fascinating and inspirational.

And so I did it. I translated an English video recording of an interview by Tony Robbins into Luxembourgish. The advantage is that you can watch the original English video side-by-side with my Luxembourgish translation so you can check your understanding at each step of the way. I’m also copying below the written Luxembourgish translation of the original English subtitles line by line.

I’m hoping that this will help you to develop an ear for the language, learn new vocabulary, sentences and ways of speaking authentic Luxembourgish.
